Do you work with organisations?

Some executive coaching clients have their session costs paid for by their organisation and also have the option to include their line manager in some of their sessions to ensure they can get the most from them. Aside from 1:1 coaching, we deliver bespoke workshops, talks, consultancy and take part in panel discussions. This includes supporting staff to deal with microaggressions and race-related conversations, imposter syndrome, EDI burnout and look after their wellbeing while supporting others.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

As someone who has experienced both and asked this question myself, both can be incredibly powerful. In coaching you will set clear goals with your coach and work towards them during and between sessions in order to thrive. Whereas psychotherapists typically treat and support mental health conditions. Some of my coaching clients are also engaged in therapy and find that both work well alongside each other. If you're unsure what would be best for you, I am happy to discuss further and signpost as needed.

What should I prepare for my initial consultation?

I prefer to meet all clients for a consultation before agreeing to start working with them, so we can see if we would be a good fit to work together. For a consultation, you may wish to bring a pen and paper (or equivalent). Aside from this, all you need to do is be open to the process, willing to grow, learn and make changes.

Where do sessions take place?

Personal 1:1 sessions typically take place virtually as I recognise many of my clients need added flexibility. Group workshops and talks can take place online or in-person, depending on availability and the clients' needs.

How many coaching sessions do I need?

Every individual is different. Typically, after 6 sessions you will start to gain more clarity and build new habits towards your goals. A longer series of 12 sessions will enable you to make long-lasting changes in your life.

How often will we meet?

Typically I will meet with personal 1:1 clients weekly or bi-weekly to allow them time to take the necessary steps to progress between sessions. For executive or leadership coaching clients, sessions take place every 2 - 4 weeks. During your first session we will decide together what would work best for you. However, for personal 1:1 clients I would recommend no more than 3 weeks between sessions to maximise your progress.
